Best trip with cool weather and good company. It's a very small down dividing into Trinkap, Brinchang (the peak) and Tanah Rata. Each are very small down by itself, slow-paced and the kind of usual town you will find in Malaysia.

Arrived at 7am and got our breakfast from Brinchang town. The prawn noodles is excellent. The bus tours provided some choices of paid tours which we signed up since this is the first time we came to Cameron Highlands. We wouldn't know where to go otherwise.
Check in at Equatorial Hotel at 9.30am. Equatorial is at the peak of Cameron which offers good view but it also means that is it a bit further from the nearest town. Although my room is facing east, i didn't manage to catch any sunrise for the next two consecutive days due to cloudy sky.
The hotel menu is expensive for Malaysia standard (roughly around RM 20-30), which prompt us to walk to Kea farm to have a more decently priced meal. Managed to find a small restaurant called Strawberry View (around RM5-6) offering zichar dishes such as hor fun, hokkien mee and fried rice. How i miss Malaysian food. The restaurant has a nice view and since it is outdoor we can enjoy the breeze too.
Our tour started at 3pm. First we visited the crysanthemum farm where it's a nice place to shoot macro. Next, we were drive up to a hillside to observe a farming method called watercrest. We bought some fresh vegetables and corn which just cost RM1. The corn is absolutely sweet even when eaten raw!
Next stop is the strawberry farm. The strawberry are grown using hydroponic system and it is small and cute. We definitely have to tried it and ended up with strawberry sundae. There is also a cactus farm nearby with a huge variety of cactus species.
We had a buffet at night. The vegetables were free-flow and fresh and crunchy. No wonder, since they just plucked it from the next door vegetable farm whenever we ask for extra helpings.
After a long day, we headed back to hotel to sleep.
It may seems rundown, but the food is good.

Excited!! Planning to catch the sunrise at 6.30am only to be disappointed with misty clouds.
Nevertheless, stomach is growling for breakfast. Food is good and delightful. Nasi lemak, sausage, pau, western, assam laksa and they are looks so good.
Time for the tour and this time they drove up to Gunung Brinchang. On the way, we stop by a tea plantation for a short photo-taking. While in Guning Brinchang, my camera drop and the filter cracked. Fortunately, the lenses remained intact. ") (with sweat)
Do bring jacket as it is cold up the hill. This is an altitude where mosses grow.
Next, we visited the BOH tea centre to observe how the tea is made. You can smell the nice fragrant of black tea and there is also a shop for you buy all the different flavours of the black tea. According to the tour guide, the 'garden tea' is the best tea available but unfortunately it has been sold out at this point. Maybe they just want to hype it up. :P
Next visit is the aboriginal village which look a bit sad. You could skip this. We had our lunch at Brinchang and soon head back to hotel. We had an early dinner and start packing up early next day departure.
Definitely not the best weather.

There is nothing much in the aboriginal town. And the weather is telling us that it is certainly time to go.

Sad to leave this nice place. I will definitely come back again.
